OK so this is the very first blog I have every done, and honestly I have no idea what I am doing so bear with me. I found a website a while back called the Clutter Free Classroom. Honestly I found it a LONG time ago, but I figured making a blog would be a little difficult for me. Now she is has created a clutter-free classroom challenge. I typically try to keep my classroom clutter free.....but I really like a challenge.
So here I am, going from just creating a blog, to being inspired to create an entire website. Thank you Clutter-Free Classroom! Each week there is a challenge, and I am very late to the party so I decided to start on Week 4 with my teacher desk.

I know a lot of people want alternatives to a teacher desk. I have tried that in the past. I got rid of my desk and kept everything underneath my horseshoe table. I hated it! I could see bins underneath! So I decided to cover it in fabric to hide them. I had to bend down constantly to get materials I needed underneath the table and the students kept getting caught in the fabric or tearing it off. Sooo....back to my teacher desk
OF COURSE- my desk still needed help. I thought what do I use my desk for other than art? I also keep stacks of copies for the day, as well as papers that need to be sent to the office and scholastic book orders. Most of the time my papers were giant jumbles.
